ENGINE

This X5 is powered with M Performance TwinPower Turbo technology. It has multi-stage turbocharging with four high-pressure turbochargers with variable inlet geometry (two turbochargers for the high-pressure stage and two for the low-pressure stage), and common-rail direct injection with piezo injectors. The 3.0-litre turbocharged six-cylinder diesel engine, paired with an eight-speed Steptronic transmission, puts out 294 kW of maximum power and 760 Nm of maximum torque. It reaches a top speed of 250 km/h.

INTERIOR

All occupants, front and rear, have abundant accommodation amid an exclusive ambience. The instrument panel is broken up by sweeping horizontal lines, which combine with classy electroplated trim elements to emphasize the width of the interior.

The raised seating position, driver-focused cockpit and arrangement of the controls offer the driver superlative control over the task of driving.

INFOTAINMENT

This X5 has the BMW Operating System 7.0 which is geared to the driver’s personal needs to optimise attention control. It is operable through the iDrive Touch Controller, the controls on the steering wheel, voice control and BMW gesture control.

This model was specced with the optional BMW Live Cockpit Professional which has an adaptive navigation system, a hard-drive-based multimedia system with 20 GB of memory, two USB ports, Bluetooth and WiFi interfaces.
